Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: To be considered for the UK Government’s 2021 Scholarship for the Darwin Initiative for Developing Nations, your application must come from a leading organization that meets the following criteria:
Must have experience in natural resource management.
It can be a public or private sector organization.
You must provide in-house experts with a proven track record and at the forefront of their discipline to work closely with or supervise the fellow. Typically this experience should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
The prospective fellow must have a connection to a recent or current Darwin Initiative project.
Currently, you can participate directly in the implementation of the main conventions and agreements on biological diversity.

The scholarship covers eligible costs (depending on the nature of the scholarship) which include a monthly subsistence, basic organization expenses, travel costs, and tuition fees.
